Komatsu has completed the acquisition of GHH which means the GHH team is now officially part of the Komatsu family. With this strategic investment in leading products, solutions and talent, Komatsu is excited to further strengthen its position in underground mining as it seeks to support new and existing customer operations worldwide. By adding GHH’s factories and rebuild facilities in key markets in Europe, Southern Africa, India and Chile, the company will work to strengthen production and service capabilities for customers.
Innovation
The HX45 has a streamlined, innovative Product Design which has received the Red Dot Design Award. The truck boasts up to a maximum of 45 metric tons with the dump box range from 19 m³ up to 24 m³, available in Tier 3, Tier 4f and Stage V. What´s more: oscillating articulation and additional trainer seat in cabin maximizing productivity and operator comfort.
Best turning radius and best dump angle (68°) in class, leading to improved performance and less material adhesion in the box. Excellent ergonomics and saftey are also key to this product design.
